Old Timey Art for the masses.

My neighbor Gene pointed out to me the artwork on the latest issue of NYC flavorpill and after some brief research I discovered Michael Pajon. Apparently he has two cats and a wife and lives in Chicago. Otherwise, his art looks like this:

Oh découpage, how you always come back to haunt and amaze me! While I do fancy the above art, it sort of looks like a low-brow version of John Derien’s stuff. Derien’s signature découpage collection is gorgeous - also makes a great gift for high maintenance moms, girlfriends or anyone who appreciates lovely design.
