baking soda: make some crack or get a cheap facial!

kate recently told me about the supposed wonders that baking soda can do for your skin.  two days later I was buying a 60 cent container of the white stuff at my deli, wondering if the people there thought I was going to use it to whip up a batch of crack cocaine.  probably.

annnyhoo, you’re supposed to mix it with water and smear it on your “problem areas” (on your face), let dry and then wash off.  sounds easy/scary enough.  the worst thing that could happen is, i don’t know…your skin falls off?!@!! not so bad right?

so of course I tried it - expecting the worst - and to my amazement, it worked like a charm.  literally, my skin hasn’t looked or felt this good since the last time I had a facial (which btw was a very long time ago since that’s expensive and i’m poor).

ladies and gents, i can’t promise this will work for everyone but it’s pretty amazing.  i present you the 10 cent facial.

so now i’m pretty much awaiting my untimely death, courtesy of the beauty industry mafia.
